A toolshop and an injection molding facility in Vratsa, Bulgaria, operating in close coordination.
LOMINI's manufacturing facilities are located in Vratsa, Bulgaria, and consist of two main production units — a Toolshop and a Plastic Injection Molding Facility. These two departments operate in close coordination, enabling a fully integrated manufacturing process, from tool design and fabrication to serial production of finished parts.
The facilities are managed by highly experienced professionals with more than 25 years of industry expertise in toolmaking, precision metalworking, and plastic and silicone injection molding. All production processes comply with widely recognized quality standards and are structured to ensure high precision, process stability and consistent product quality.
LOMINI is equipped with the necessary machinery, technologies and know-how to support small-series precision metal machining, design, repair and maintenance of injection molds, as well as the manufacturing of high-precision plastic and silicone components in a wide range of sizes and complexity levels.
LOMINI's Toolshop was established in 2018 with the ambition and technical capability to design, manufacture and maintain tooling and injection molds for high-precision plastic components. Since its foundation, the department has been focused on advanced toolmaking solutions tailored to modern industrial requirements.
The toolshop is equipped with modern CNC machining centers and precision equipment, enabling high-accuracy metal machining, small-series production of metal components and cold metalworking operations. We provide repair, modification and replacement of forming inserts and critical components for injection molds, helping to extend tool life and maintain consistent part quality.
Working in close integration with our plastic injection molding department, the toolshop allows for rapid tool optimization, improved process stability and strict quality control throughout the entire production cycle.
The Toolshop is equipped with a dedicated measurement and quality control laboratory designed for the inspection of critical dimensions and geometric features of manufactured tools and components. The laboratory includes a 3D Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) integrated with specialized software that enables real-time comparison between the measured part and the original 3D CAD model.
For fine-detail inspection, we utilize a Kestrel measuring microscope with digital readout, allowing accurate measurement and evaluation of microscopic defects, small dimensions and functional features. In addition, a microscope camera system is used for visual inspection, defect documentation and feature analysis, supporting advanced quality control and traceability requirements.
The measurement laboratory plays a crucial role in our quality assurance system, ensuring high precision, repeatability and full compliance with technical specifications throughout the tooling and precision machining processes.
LOMINI's Injection Molding and Production Unit is the newest addition to our manufacturing base. Established in 2024, this facility was designed to expand the company's capabilities in the production of high-precision plastic, silicone and two-component polymer parts.
The facility is equipped with injection molding machines of various sizes and specifications, enabling small- to medium-series production, as well as the fabrication of prototypes and pilot parts. The team of operators are highly skilled professionals with extensive experience in injection molding and quality control, ensuring process stability, precision and consistent high-quality output.
Operating in close collaboration with the Toolshop, the injection molding facility allows for rapid tool optimization, process repeatability and the flexibility to implement design changes quickly. This integrated setup enables LOMINI to deliver innovative, high-technology plastic and silicone products tailored to the specific technical requirements of our clients.
Within the Injection Molding Facility, a dedicated quality control area has been established, focused on sampling inspection of manufactured parts. Our highly trained personnel perform strict visual and measurement checks at every stage of production.
The inspection process utilizes sample parts, measuring microscopes and camera systems to detect surface defects, dimensional deviations and functional properties of both plastic and silicone components. This approach ensures high precision, process repeatability and full compliance with technical specifications, allowing for timely identification and correction of discrepancies in the production workflow.
Quality control is an integral part of our manufacturing system, ensuring reliable and consistent end products, regardless of part complexity or size.
